Laura's Happy Tune

This is a song I wrote for my partner Laura, with whom I've shared 12 wonderful years. Laura is a super positive person, whose glass is not merely half-full but brimming over (I tell her she's over-endowed with endorphins!). Her cheerful attitude is great to be around on a day-to-day basis, and inspired this song :) This is a preview from an upcoming album of original songs, out later this year. It's Laura's birthday today, so the perfect time to release it. Here are the lyrics:

Generally cheerful
Always ready to look on the bright side
Laura, she is often laughing
She likes to be happy…
And that makes me happy too

Laura, she’s out in the garden
Tending to the green shoots
Always nourishing and nurturing
